| A1. | What is the purpose of the Master’s Global 30 course? Is there any ways to obtain a doctoral degree?
このプログラムは学位取得を目的とするものですか。博士の学位は取得できますか。The purpose of the Master’s Global 30 course is to educate students to obtain a master's degree but not a doctoral degree. After the completion of this course, however, there is a way for you to continue your study at a doctoral degree program at the Graduate School of Engineering, the University of Tokyo. The application for a doctoral degree program differs depending on departments. The Master’s Global 30 Courses at the Graduate School of Engineering is open to international applicants who are now residing in foreign countries. Another option for you is to take the entrance examination held every August and /or February. | A5. | Could you tell me more specifically about the English language proficiency level required by the Master’s Global 30 Course?
必要な英語の習得レベルを教えてください。At the time of paper screening, each department evaluates your English proficiency level by the application documents you submitted. There is no specific score required by School of Engineering. Each department judges its applicants comprehensively considering its research topics and academic areas. 書類選考で,各コースで求められる英語の習得レベルを総合的に判定いたします。工学系研究科において特定の数値を設けているわけではありません。各コースがそれぞれの分野の特性を考慮して総合的に判定します。 |

We strongly recommend you to read the following URL thoroughly for further information.
