Master’s Global 30 Special English Course Global 30 | 18The applicant must have academic ability equal or superior to that of a Japanese university graduate. A person will be deemed to have academic ability equal or superior to that of a university graduate if he/she has completed or will complete a 16-year school curriculum in a foreign country.The applicant must satisfy all the eligibility requirements for the Master’s Global 30 Special English Course.Please conrm application eligibility with the ocial Application Guidelines which will be announced in June.To complete the Master's Global 30 Special English Course, a student must a) enroll for a period of more than 2 years, b) complete the required courses, c) earn more than 30 credits, d) receive necessary research guidance, and e) have a Master's thesis accepted. A Master’s degree (Engineering) will be granted to those who complete the above requirements. Credits earned from the Graduate School of Engineering English Course Group (Departments of Civil Engineering, Architecture, Electrical / Mechanical Engineering,Terotechnology), specically set up for the English Course, can count as required credits.Completion of the Degree ProgramThe Global 30 program of the University of Tokyo's School of Engineering provides economic assistance to students while striving to promote education and research. Applications are carried out through the University of Tokyo. Students should submit their application directly to the Global 30 Oce. Applicants will receive a primary evaluation based on their academic qualications. The Graduate School of Engineering will recommend a select few students who demonstrate outstanding merit to the scholarship sponsors. Those who are selected will be notied during the course of the selection process.Applicants who pass the primary selection but have not been oered one of the above-mentioned scholarships can still be accepted directly as self-supporting students on the Master's Global 30 Special English Course. The School of Engineering encourages applicants to apply for any applicable scholarships to facilitate academic life at the University of Tokyo.At the time of enrollment, students in full-time attendance must pay each expense mentioned (above) before they enroll the program. Each department makes a comprehensive assessment of its applicants based on submitted documents from the applicants.各コースの選考基準は未公開です。提出いただいた書類,作品,面接で総合的に判定されます。Q04Is it possible to register as a non-degree research student and earn credits at the Master’s Global 30 Course?Master’s Global 30で研究生(non-degree)として滞在して単位のみを取得することはできますか。A04No. The Master’s Global 30 Course does not accept any non-degree students.学位取得を目的としない研究生受け入れは対象外です。Q05Could you tell me more specically about the English language prociency level required by the Master’s Global 30 Course?必要な英語の習得レベルを教えてください。A05At the time of paper screening, each department evaluates your English prociency level through the application documents you submitted. There is no specic score required by the Graduate School of Engineering.
